"Cath" v.

Apparently, according to an ad for medical supplies on local TV, one
uses catheters when one has occasion to _cath_:

"And every time that she needed to cath, she had to boil used catheters."

"Now, thanks to [the advertiser], when I want to cath, I can use a
new, sterile catheter."
