P.S.  After sending this, I realized that the "clone" part of
"retroclone" may have suggested a blend of "retronym" with
"snowclone".  It was intended as a blend of "retronym" with "lexical
clone", a.k.a. contrastive focus reduplication (e.g. _salad salad_,
_dog dog_, _like him like him_).
