Spam from ak47popcorn

Several people on this list have, I believe, been receiving e-mails from someone who uses the e-mail address "ak47popcorn at verizon.net".

I reported him to Verizon.net and received an e-mail claiming he had taken me off his mailing list.  So if anyone receives unwanted e-mail from this source, simply forward the message to abuse at verizon.net and maybe he will take the hint.

Of linguistic interest: "ak47popcorn" is a sick joke.  Distant gunfire, particularly from an automatic rifle such as an AK-47, does sound like popcorn.  I am told that combat veterans suffering from PTSD have gone into flashbacks of combat when hearing the noise of a popcorn popper.
