sweatxedo

[James Harbeck]

This word caught my eye when I saw it in one of the "readings" in
this month's Harper's. It only gets 6 Google hits as one word, but
"sweat-xedo" gets almost 20,000, which, however, dissolve into 33 by
the time you've clicked through to page 4, and they're all quoting
the letter Harper's printed. The letter reprinted in Harper's can be
seen at

. Interesting that only Harper's and one blog have the unhyphenated
version.
