teeyota and IPod

The newsreader on Willy Geist's Way Too Early pronounced "Toyota" as
[ti'jo*@] twice.  The first time I thought it was a slip, but the
second made that less certain.  Reduction of an unstressed vowel?  She
also said "IPod" for "IPad," which probably was a slip.
