In 1929, Frank W. Epperson also filed a patent for another
invention--stacked cups with pre-sealed beverage mix attached to the
bottom--just lift the cup from the stack, yank out the paper seal,
fill with water and you have a beverage of your choice. Not bad for a
lemonade stand operator. (Patent # 1,709,168)
