On messing wth Texas . . .

An interesting application or adaptation of the newish proverb "Don't mess with Texas":

A few minutes ago, I was driving, and my wife was in the passenger seat talking on her cell phone with one of her (numerous) sisters about some minor family crisis.  I heard my wife say, "I'm not messing with THAT.  That's Texas."
