manopause; to advocate

A couple of years ago Larry called our attention to "manopause."  CNN has
just run a segment on "male menopause or 'manopause,' as we call it around
here."  This is the first time I have encountered the term in the "real"
world.

The fortyish physician who addressed "manopause" (as he also called it)
observed too that not all instances of low testosterone "advocate
treatment."

That appears to mean that some don't require or "call for" (get it?)
treatment.

Not in OED or MW.
