The new on-line OED -- quotations missing? (UNCLASSIFIED)

I have previously looked into the 1941 Google Books alleged "acronym" occurrence, and its dating is bogus. The 1943 OED first use seems to be very hard, maybe impossible, to antedate.

Fred's new post about SCOTUS made me look up "Acronym".

Old Version 2nd edition 1989 has quotes from
1943
1947
1947
1950
1954
1956
1967
1971
1972
1981
1981
1983

This set of quotes includes uses of derivative words "acronymic a.;
acronymically adv.; acronyming vbl. n.; acronymize v. trans."

The "Old" Version 2000 update (that which was standard before Dec 1)
seems to be the same as the 1989 version, which I suppose means that
updates for "acronym" haven't been released since 1989.

The "new" version (post Dec 1) includes quotes from
1943
1947
1950
For "acronym, n"

And "Derivatives" quotes as follows:
Acronym v trans
1967
1972
1983

Acronymic adj
1954

Acronymically adv
1971
1981

Acronyming n
1947
1947

Acronymize v trans
1956
1981

So the "new" version has split the derivatives out as separate entries,
and added 1 1947 quotation.

And fwiw, Google Books seems to have a 1941 cite from American Notes &
Queries, which is snippet view only, which antedates everything.
