A NEW OUTLOOK IN THE CONQUEST OF DISEASE. Chemo-therapy. BY T.
MITCHELL PRUDDEN, M. D.
p. 78/1-2
In the new outlook, through coordination of the lore and experience of
the physician, the biologist, and the chemist, all are concerned in
creating drugs to fit occasions, for in that way alone precision and
promise lie. And while the problem is primarily biomedical and the
occasion is apt to bear the urgency of medical needs, its source and
projection become presently merged with the technical possibilities of
chemistry; so that while each discipline has its own particular angle
of vision and its special material tasks, they advance as a unit and
share in a common aim.
