I concede my error about Economics 101 (which I have clearly
forgotten). But then the industry of gigantic banks cannot be as
competitive as Prof. Harris pretends it to be, when they have such
enormous profits and can give their employees, from top to
secretaries, enormous bonuses. (I cite Geoff: "the more competitive
an industry, the lower the profit margins.")
