[My "athotic" was overruled by Mark's "athetic".  I propose the
above, but properly spelled by those who can produce runes.]

In the temporary absence of its owner, an automatic email responder
sent back the following:

 >>>>>Thank you for your email. I am out of the  office toady. I will
respond to your email tomorrow.   <<<<<

Clearly a speaker who drops "the" -- in my dialect, the above would
have to be "I am the out of the office toady."
