just to note that "pundojournalist" -- with "pundo-" as an incipient affix liberated from "pundocracy" (a well-attested alternative to "punditocracy") and the like -- is apparently Jon's very own creation.  at least i haven't scared up any examples of it or of "pundojournalism".

useful word. and less awkward than "pundit-journalist", to my mind, anyway.
