Possible 1933 Date for "All Nine Yards"

FWIW I got the book via ILL in May, read the section, and did not post it to the list, as I considered it not likely connected to "the whole nine yards."

Not from a copy, but just by tweaking the cite.

"Up to the moment of writing this paragraph, my clippings from the
horticultural press of America, England , France and Germany on the subject

So, he probably DID say what was posted.  But, he was talking about his file
of clippings on the subject.
