To add to the baby carryin' fun:
We were given for our (now 13 years old) first baby a "Moses basket,"
which was woven from a rope-like material (hemp? cordage? reeds?) and
had 2 carrying handles on it. Lay baby down in it and cart baby with
you from room to room.
