[Michael Quinion]

The message looked like spam, but it checks out. It began, "The United
States Library of Congress has selected your Web site for inclusion in its
historic collections of Internet materials." Should I be flattered or just
admiring of the LoC's inclusiveness? An earnest foreigner wishes to know.
