Well, **SOME** were drafted;  some of us volunteered.  My hazy memory from
1965 is that about a third each of my basic training company were draftees,
a third regular volunteers, and the last third split between National Guard
and Reserve.

The soldiers coming back from Nam were "drafted" into that war.  They did
not volunteer.  Why should they be blamed.  Protestors held no animositiy
for them.
