In fact, she was just repeating a far right talking point. "Congress shall make no law regarding the establishment of religion" can provide a lot of wiggle room, and they want to take as much as they can. The fact that this quotation is a candidate for "most notable" is how unaware we can be as to what those people say to each other. It's up there with the McConnell's highest priority being to make Obama a one-term president. That could be another candidate.
