Not in OED. Some 3,000 GB hits for "heterostereotype," 2,800 for
"autostereotype."

"Social psychology distinguishes...between auto-stereotypes and
hetero-stereotypes....An auto-stereotype is an adjudgement (in the sense of
an opinion) that an ethnic group forms about itself. A hetero-stereotype is
more an association, a prejudice used by an ethnic group to define others.
Within the national-stereotype you can find positive and negative ones.

"The auto-stereotype is always more differentiated than the
hetero-stereotype. The positive attributes are dominating.

"The hetero-stereotype is tending to the black-or-white pattern: Stronger
generalization, simplification or decrease [sic]."

 It's simple. A group's stereotype of itsself is "auto," of others "hetero."
