_Motrin_: hard to hear; consequently, hard to pronounce

A woman with a slight accent tells Judge Milian that she was given

"Mawltrin,"

i.e., with an "L."

Your humble correspondent was long under the impression that this
brand name was pronounced

"Mole-trin,"

likewise with an "L," until the med became OTC and the spelling
finally caught his attention.

to come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
