Opinion piece in NYT: When Data Disappears

On August 6th the New York Times published an op-ed on the very
important topic of digital preservation. Here is a link for
individuals who are able to access the NYT. Future research on the
evolution of language will depend on the proper preservation of text
and other data that is being created and disseminated now in digital
form.
