I don't remember precisely if the clock is shown. After Thornhill
flees from the UN building, he attempts to buy a ticket for the 20th
Century Limited. The ticket seller stalls him, he becomes
suspicious, and he walks off while the ticker seller is phoning the
police. Given that the scene must have taken place on the main
concourse (IIR the terminal C), I have to believe Hitchcock would
have introduced it by showing the iconic clock.
