Thirty-ish, white male speaker:
"I'm a _whore_ [hor], Jerry. I done slept with 340 different women. I
ain't nothin' but a dang ol' _whore_ [ho]."
IME, "hippie"-types have been vocativing women as "dude" for the past
half-century. Here of late, I've been hearing black male "guests"
vocativing women as "man," when stressed-out, at least:
"I gave up a football scholarship to the University of Arkansas for you, _man_!"
Just this instant heard a forty-ish white male do the same thing:
She: "I'm leaving you."
He: "What?!!! Tiffany! Come on, man!"
A Cracker-Jack-prize-level catch from a thirty-ish, black male speaker:
"I've been a dog all my life, Jerry. But, now, this dog done turnt
into a _werewolf_!"
An exaggeration, since he was merely knocking it out on the side with
the thirty-ish babysitter, tipping her a little extra. That's not
exactly player-grade action.
A twenty-ish, white-male audience-member says to a male guest:
"You've been _rocking_ both those women, but …"
strangely using _rock_ as a cover for "fuck." How quaint!
Youneverknow.;-)

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die!"---a strange complaint
to come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
