"Got your back"?

I don't think it's new, but, it seems, "got your back" and "got you
covered" would mean the same thing here.

I also don't think it means "takes care of you". "Helps you"--maybe, "do
something to allow you to do it" (magic)--maybe. "Provides assurance
(that you should not worry)"--certainly.
