OK, so "bonga bonga" we all know is just group
anal sex.  Big deal. So a large majority of
Italians didn't know that before yesterday; I'm
sure this was old hat to Americans, as
well-informed as we are.  But I thought we were
talking about "bunga-bunga".  That really *is* a
mystery.  I'm guessing it refers to a group of
people sitting around the fireplace in fine linen
and silk drinking Barolo and discussing the
relative merits of the Florentine and Sienese
masters of the quattrocento.
