It could get tricky, though. I can't recall his
book, which we still have somewhere on a shelf,
unless we lent it out after we survived the
relevant years, but I distinctly remember The
Parenting Advisor from Princeton U. Press, which
dutifully alternated paragraphs for sex of
babies, but consistently treated all
pediatricians as "he"/"him".
