OED doesn't seem to cover - even with a citation - predicative exx. like
Sister Sledge's "We are Family!"

Nor does it cover Gov. Palin's non-count usage in Episode One of _SP's
Alaska_, "Family always comes first, and that's just the way it's gotta
be!"  Another recent cliche is "It's all about family.'
