Lincoln document altered

The "amateur historian" who perpetrated this act is Dr. Thomas
P. Lowry, who is also the author of _The Stories the Soldiers
Wouldn't Tell: Sex in the Civil War_, _Sexual Misbehavior in
the Civil War_, and other books, based on Lowry's work in the
National Archives and other places, that have been
occasionally used by ADS members to research the language of
this era.
