I have just received an email from the Sierra Club headed "The Scariest Company You've Never Heard Of".

I've been seeing statements in this form -- often headlines -- for some years now.
"The best book you have never read"
"The greatest baseball player you have never heard of"

Who was the first to use the formula is a pretty problem, one that would be extremely tiresome to solve by a search.

(The company is the Koch brothers' company.)
