"forgettable"

My usual encounter with "forgettable" has suggested a general meaning
more of the "undistinguished; plain old boring; uninspired;
potboiler" type than the "oh gaaaad nooooo that's hideous pleeease
erase it from my memory" sort. It would be interesting to see a
survey of usages to see what prevails and what divisions there are.
