Dear ADSL
Been off radar for some time, trying to survive the recession.
Back with a query; I presume the expression "wear the ruby slippers" (from
The Wizard of Oz) is an oblique reference to "friends of Dorothy".
Has anyone else come across the expression used to indicate homosexuality?
"Love is just a chemical reaction designed to encourage propagation of the
species," James [who is gay] declares [...].
"Really?" Callie says. If it's all about propagation of the species, then
how do you explain homosexuality, honey-love? Those of you who wear the ruby
slippers?"
