Worse and worse

Funny :-)

Perhaps this was meant to be flattering.  But "Each dish was "less" delicious than the next" (i.e., getting better and better) doesn't seem to do the trick.

But if the author meant what she said (getting worse and worse) I wonder if she took dessert.
