Whatever the case was with the Mariners, the fatwa has been rescinded--or
the show has been specifically licensed from MLB. The issue with the
Mariners game was that it was not specifically authorized for a shortened
broadcast. When a local channel has a licensed show that shortens the games
with direct permission from MLB, it may well make all the difference.
