yet another "fact"

The Australian grandson of the world's last combat-service veteran of World
War One, who has died at the age of 110, tells us via Yahoo News: "He hated
war....His last dying wish would be the fact that please don't let there be
any more wars because he hated them."

The syntax is a bit tortured, but "fact" here functions clearly as "idea."
