Forty-ish, white female speaker:
"She did the three days of _Baker-Act-ing_"
Florida's Baker Act allows a relative or other representative of the
public weal to place a person deemed to be a danger to himself or to
others as a consequence of alcoholism, drug addiction, or other mental
defect under a period of state control roughly the equivalent of, but
not the same as, a jail term.
Hence, I assume that _to Baker-Act_ is "to be under the authority and
control of administrators of the Baker Act."
But, cf. also, the title
"How to Baker-Act Someone"
wherein "to Baker Act" means "to place someone under the authority and
control of administrators of said act."

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die!"---a strange complaint
to come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
