Of possible interest to ADS members:
We cordially invite you to join the 7th Congress of the International
Society of Dialectology and Geolinguistics which will be held in Vienna
(Austria) from July 23 to 28, 2012. It is organized by the Institute for
Lexicography of Austrian Dialects and Names (DINAMLEX) at the Austrian
Academy of Sciences.
In the course of this international event, there will be two parts entitled
dialect 2.0 and wboe100. Both emphasize on dialectology and variety
linguistics, geolinguistics , dialect dictionaries, lexicography and atlases
in the age of cyberscience in interdisciplinary and international context.
In addition the wboe100 focuses on 100 years of research in dialect
lexicography in Austria in an international context, due to the centenary of
the DINAMLEX in 2012.
Pre‐Congress tutorials will introduce techniques and new methods .
The social programme organized invites you to get into discussion with
colleagues in the beautiful surroundings of Vienna and get into one of the
most famous European cities in a very special way.

・ Submission abstracts (reviewing): 30th November 2011
・ Acceptance notification: 31st January 2012
・ Registration lecturers: 29th February 2012
・ Submission abstracts (proceedings): 31st March 2012
・ Reduced registration: before 1st April 2012
・ Submission papers: 31st December 2012
Proceedings (abstracts) will be published before the event. Full papers will
be published after the event (c.f. the deadlines above.)
