Ticky-tack revisited

In the department of those ticky-tack fouls in basketball:  Since the NBA is still locked out, the nation turns its lonely eyes to the NFL, where a couple of minutes ago in the late Thanksgiving game the S.F. 49ers were penalized for a chop-block against the Baltimore Ravens' lineman, nullifying what would have been a touchdown pass, and one of the announcers declared it to have been "a ticky-tack call".
