Evil twin Kirk in the same episode had no goatee.

He did wear a kind if muscle shirt, however.  Evil Chekhov may have
had a beard - I don't remember.

Riker in Next Generation Star Trek always wore a beard. So even
though he seemed good, you couldn't tell which he was really.

This added to the suspense.

Note that "evil twin brother" is the form preferred here rather than
the concise and now iconic "evil twin":

Zucco in "Dead Men Walk." Zucco goes into a dual role involving a nice
country doctor and his evil twin brother, whose delving into sorceries
and black magic makes the horror 100 percent.

But soon:

(Dec. 26) 5: "Got to -catch my evil twin, Killer Kane - before it's
TOO LATE!"  "But Nova, Killer got away in your experimental
jetomicopter! He's harmless now!"

(I don't know how she figures that!)
