"Quindem" = "five-seat bicycle".  Not in OED.

"A five-seat bicycle is called a quindem."  National Geographic Kids,
August 2011, p. 3.  [Don't ask, since I won't answer.]

Same definition in Wikistupidia.com.

Several sites claim "The first five-seat bicycle, the quindem, was
built in 1940."

No Google Books hits.  One would think there should be.  Newspapers, anyone?
