donder

A quote from a South African politician just before the 1994 elections:

> If you touch a right-winger before or after the election then we ill
> donder you harder than we have ever dondered you.

I picked up the Penguin Dictionary of South African Quotations (1994) at
a library sale.

I presume "donder" is from Dutch donder==thunder. But it appears to have
evolved in Afrikaans--and SA English--over the years.
