I'm pretty sure that I heard [tsa] and not [za]. IAC, I first heard
this clip in,

"And then we went for some _za [za]_ and _da_."

The speaker explained that _da_ is "soda." So far, _da_ is a hapax
legomenon, as is _za and da_.
