"Almost everyone, who is connected with aviation in any way, has heard
of Murphy's Law, which states, "If a part can be installed incorrectly,
someone will install it that way." "
Note:
1. There is no allusion to Edward Murphy, Muroc/Edwards AFB, or other
elements of the "canonical" origin story.
2. The law is phrased differently than is generally accepted.
3. However, the way the law is phrased (mis-installation of parts) is
consistent with the story told by participants in the rocket sled tests,
who referred to strain gauges being installed incorrectly.
Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE
