We discussed "wrecking havoc" in 2005.  Here is a  >choke! gack!<  "standard
English" example:

2011 Louis P. Masur _The Civil War: A Concise History_ (N.Y.: OUP) 73: [B]ut
those orders often went disobeyed as stragglers unattached to the army
wrecked havoc.

Prof. Masur "is the William R. Kenan Jr. [sic: no commas] Professor in [sic]
