Gov. Perry, asked whether he believes in evolution:

"It's a theory that's out there, and it's got some gas."

Period. Now, if he'd said, "...and it's got legs," that might imply a
slightly more favorable opinion.

Jon Huntsman, whose economic plan has been endorsed by the WSJ and who
therefore appeals to 2% of Republicans, actually went so far as to say that
"The Republican Party cannot win by running away from science."

So you know where he stands. I think.
