MOS

Romney campaign guru on CNN:

"When you're running for President, you're looking for 'moments of
strength.' We call them 'MOS's.' "

Because the voters "want to know that you're up to the job."

Example: You're President and you say firmly, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down
this wall!"  More than two years later, other people tear it down! Now
that's an MOS! Too bad he couldn't have run for re-election!
