1952 _Billboard_ 11 June 62/1 (Entertainment Industry Magazine Archive)  Paris has at least two "key club"-type "discotheque" niteries.  These are excusive intime bistros where diskophiles of all ages -- not just kids -- come to hear the latest platters (usually of advanced jazz techniques); and dance to them while having a post-theatre snack and drink.
