1903 _Chicago Daily Tribune_ 12 Sept. 4 (ProQuest Historical Newspapers)  The kike is a more or less human animal of predatory instincts.  His lair is the sweat shop.  He immurs women and children and causes them to work many hours each day for a few cents.  He does not keep his lair clean.  The clothing that he sends out contains germs and vermin.
