British bias in the OED :-)

I note that the color of my other alma mater also is neglected by the
OED.  And this is the college that was chartered in the short 17th
century, and at times called the new Cambridge university.  British
visitors to New England were often very confused.

Yale and Columbia also refer to their athletes by color.  See Google.
