Me too, I guess.

Small and cheap and greasy items that would slide down the throat one
after another.

Should be some sort of a burger, though, in my experience.

I would not expect the term to be applied to a big expensive 'gourmet'
burger, nor to some very different sort of sandwich (e.g., submarine,
chicken salad, hot dog), nor to a ground-beef patty all by itself
without bread.
