2007 Laura Slot _Consistency and Change in Bertrand Russell's Attitude
towards War_ (Leiden, Neth.: Sidestone Press) 64: While his anger
towards the Soviet Union was slowly abiding, he became increasingly
critical of American foreign policy.

Laura Slot appears to be a native speaker of Dutch, so it may just be
a slip.  But it's interesting nonetheless.
